All good plates start with meat. And most good ones finish with bread. The stuff in between is all extra. These are the best biscuits EVER.
4 cups of any quick biscuit mix (my favorite is Bisquick)
8oz of 7-Up
8oz sour cream
Preheat oven to 450°F. Mix ingredients until absorbed (do not over work the dough). Turn dough onto surface dusted with flour or extra biscuit mix. Knead 5 times. Pat to 1/2 inch thickness. Cut with 3-inch cutter. Place on ungreased cookie sheet with sides touching for soft sides, or set two inches apart for crispy sides. Bake about 9 minutes or until golden brown. Brush with melted butter.
